School of Skatin welcomes Jake White to our staff. Jake has 15 years of skateboarding experience and a decade of mentoring skateboarders. Jake is originally from Baltimore, Maryland and has ridden for numerous skateshops around the country. Jake made his way to Florida about 6 years ago to attend Ringling College of Art and Design where he earned his BFA in film. You can find Jake street skating in his spare time, working part time at Anchor Skate Supply, filming skateboarding, and working on other film projects. With over 30 years of skateboarding experience and 20 years of teaching... School of Skatin will be an experience you won't forget. The School of Skatin was established in 2007 with one goal in mind to pass along and teach the gift of skateboarding.
Our Mission at School of Skatin is to provide excellence in skateboarding for all who wish to attend. In addition, we strive to create a positive learning environment for all students (Skaters) at all levels, and for skaters of all backgrounds. Any and all aspects and concepts skateboarding are incorporated in our School of Skatin programs. We cater to all levels and ages beginner to advanced. We teach the basics of skateboarding such as stance, pushing and riding to more advance street and skatepark disciplines. If you are looking to learn the basics or go beyond the average skateboarder , then the School of Skatin is for you.
Beginners to advance level skaters will learn something new every day from our experienced instructors! Have fun, make friends, and learn a life long skill that will last a lifetime! All Staff members go through extensive background checks.
We are stoked to welcome Zack Carter to our staff and incorporate skimboarding into our Summer Program. Zack is a Professional skimboarder and skim instructor. Zack also rips on a skateboard!
